‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’: Director Gil Kenan Deciphers the Mid-Credits Scene in The Movie

In ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’, get ready for the Spengler family to make a triumphant return as they battle terrifying creatures once more. The much-awaited horror, comedy, and fantasy film, starring a cast that includes Mckenna Grace, Emily Alyn Lind, Bill Murray, Finn Wolfhard and others, is scheduled to open in theatres on 19th April 2024. In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Gil Kenan discusses the movie’s mid-credits scene and what it means for the future of the franchise.

As Kenan explores the mischievous activities of the Mini-Pufts, he raises the possibility of more issues beyond their lighthearted truck-stealing antics. He intends to co-write a possible sequel with Jason Reitman, having already decided on a plot.

 “There’s more trouble where that came from,” Kenan teases, alluding to a plethora of untold tales that are just waiting to be discovered. He also discloses that a Ghostbusters 6 is currently being developed to satisfy the devoted fans of the series.

In ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’, Mini-Pufts are introduced, appealing to fans of the original Ghostbusters film series. Their inclusion in the mid-credits scene further develops the plot. Mini-Pufts undoubtedly spark new adventures for the Ghostbusters universe, even though they might not be the only catalyst.
