Glen Powell is gearing up for another major big-screen release with the upcoming A24 thriller 'How to Make a Killing,' set to hit theatres on 20th February 2026. The newly released trailer teases a dark, twisted revenge story fueled by family betrayal, generational wealth, and obsession.
In the film, Powell portrays Beckett Redfellow, a working-class man rejected by his ultra-wealthy family before he was even born. After learning about his family's extreme wealth, Beckett becomes consumed by the idea of reclaiming what he believes should have been his.
When a friend bluntly suggests that eliminating his relatives would be the only way for him to inherit their fortune, Beckett takes the idea seriously. His obsession quickly spirals, leading him down a dangerous and violent path as he begins targeting extended family members to secure his place as heir.
The official story positions Beckett as a man abandoned by his billionaire family, now willing to go to extreme lengths to regain his birthright, regardless of the damage left behind.

'How to Make a Killing' is written and directed by John Patton Ford, best known for his 2022 crime thriller 'Emily the Criminal,' which starred Aubrey Plaza. His return to gritty, character-driven storytelling sets high expectations for this new project.
