Cameron teased the audience by saying, “The new film is not what you expect, but definitely what you want.” While it was “too soon” to share any footage, he did offer a glimpse of the film’s “cool concept art,” which depicted characters in a fiery sky setting. The director also hinted at the introduction of new cultures, creatures, and biomes, promising that audiences would see more of Pandora than ever before.

In related news, Hollywood insider Jeff Sneider recently revealed that there’s a nine-hour director’s cut of ‘Avatar 3’ that could potentially be turned into a limited series on Disney+. According to Sneider, Cameron is considering completing the visual effects for the extended version, which might later be released on Disney+ following the theatrical cut. However, Sneider cautioned that this plan is not yet set in stone.
