Jennifer Aniston Remembers Texting Matthew Perry The Day He Died

Jennifer Aniston has opened up about the untimely death of her ‘Friends’ co-star, Matthew Perry, in her first interview since the tragic event. Aniston expressed her desire for Perry to be remembered as he wished – as a man who lived well and contributed to others.

Through tears, Aniston shared that Perry was in a good place before his death. He had embraced a healthier lifestyle, having quit smoking and engaged in fitness pursuits. Aniston, visibly emotional, conveyed that she had been texting with Perry on the morning of his passing, describing him as happy and not in pain.

“He was happy. He was healthy. He had quit smoking. He was getting in shape. He was happy — that’s all I know,” she said.

Aniston’s co-star from ‘The Morning Show,’ Reese Witherspoon, provided support during the interview, emphasizing the strong bond among the cast of ‘Friends’ and praising their enduring friendships.
