In her recent promotional interviews for the much-anticipated film 'Die My Love,' Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence revealed a candid insight into the production's intimate scenes opposite Robert Pattinson. According to Lawrence, she felt secure and at ease enough with Pattinson that she didn't really need an official intimacy coordinator. The revelation offers a deeper look into the actors' on-set dynamic, their working methods, and what to anticipate from the psychological thriller that opens in theaters today, i.e. 7th November, 2025.
The Professional Bond: Lawrence & Pattinson on Set
In the Lynne Ramsay-directed movie 'Die My Love,' Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson are set to play a married couple whose lives fall apart following a tragic birth. Prior to the release, Lawrence talked about how she and Pattinson developed a close bond of trust throughout the filmmaking process, particularly when shooting intense and private sequences. She shared on the Las Culturistas podcast: "We did not have [an intimacy coordinator], or maybe we did but we didn't really…I felt really safe with Rob."

She emphasized that Pattinson is "not pervy and very in love with [partner] Suki Waterhouse," adding that most of their off-camera conversations were about family, kids, and relationships, not awkward advances or power plays.
Mutual Trust Made an Intimacy Coordinator Optional
Lawrence clarified that the mutual respect and open communication she and Pattinson had from the beginning were the main reasons she felt at ease forgoing an intimacy coordinator. She noted, "If there was a little bit of that I would probably have an intimacy coordinator. A lot of male actors get offended if you don't want to f--- them, and then the punishment starts. But he was not like that, for the record."

Lawrence claimed that even though the production had a coordinator on hand, she didn't use it much because she felt supported and safe on set. She underlined that they were able to approach even the most delicate sequences with humour, confidence, and trust because of their shared professional bond and awareness of boundaries.
'Die My Love': What the Film is About?
Based on the book by Ariana Harwicz, 'Die My Love' is a dark comedy and psychological thriller. After relocating to a secluded rural place with her husband (Pattinson), Grace (Lawrence), a new mother, descends into madness. Early filming included extremely vulnerable scenes, including one where the couple "were naked, attacking each other like tigers," Lawrence joked. The narrative examines issues of loneliness, mental health, body image, and the strain that comes with being a new parent.

The cast also includes Sissy Spacek, Nick Nolte, and LaKeith Stanfield. The film, which is slated for its release on 7th November, promises viewers an unvarnished, emotionally charged, and visceral experience; in order to preserve authenticity, Lawrence even declined digital retouching of her body in certain moments.
