Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck experienced the thrill of one of the year's hottest films with a theatre outing. A video shared by an X user captured the couple at a screening of ‘Dune: Part Two’, where they were seen tidying up their seats after the nearly three-hour cinematic journey.

A social media post accompanied the clip, with fellow moviegoer expressing their amazement at the film and the unexpected presence of JLo and Ben Affleck. The post humorously revealed, "'Dune 2' was AMAZING. Post credits scene was realising JLo & Ben Affleck were sitting right in front of us lol."

However, Lopez and Affleck aren't the only ones captivated by the second instalment of 'Dune.' The movie made a whopping $82.5 million in its domestic box office debut, solidifying its position as the highest-grossing film of 2024 globally within just six days.

Mindy Kaling also shared her cinematic experience on Instagram, praising the film as a masterpiece. ‘Dune: Part Two’ continues the saga of Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet, as he navigates conspiracies and prophecies on the planet Arrakis. The movie picks up from the first instalment, with Paul and his mother Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) joining forces with the native Fremen, portrayed by Zendaya and Javier Bardem, to resist oppression and seek revenge.

'Dune' has become a cultural phenomenon known for its grand scale and gripping action. AMC Theatres' themed popcorn buckets, resembling the giant sandworms from Arrakis, are now collector's items, fetching hundreds of dollars online. The star-studded cast includes Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Josh Brolin, Léa Seydoux, Dave Bautista, and Stellan Skårsgard.

‘Dune: Part Two’ is currently captivating audiences in theatres, continuing the legacy of Frank Herbert's iconic 1965 novel on the big screen.
