Jennifer Lopez Stays ‘Focused on Work’ Amid Ben Affleck Split Rumours
Jennifer Lopez is maintaining her busy work schedule amidst ongoing rumours about her relationship with Ben Affleck. “They’re still living separately,” a source close to Lopez tells PEOPLE. “She’s back in L.A. for tour rehearsals. She seems okay. She’s very focused on work.”
Lopez, 54, and Affleck, 51, spent Mother’s Day apart and have been living in different homes in Los Angeles.

Lopez’s latest film, ‘Atlas,’ debuted over Memorial Day weekend as the No. 1 movie on Netflix in 55 countries, according to the streaming service, which also reported that the sci-fi movie attracted 28.2 million views. Besides the new film, Lopez is preparing for a North American summer tour starting in Orlando on the 26th June.
On 23rd May, Affleck was spotted with a group at the Los Angeles restaurant Giorgio Baldi, while Lopez attended the red carpet premiere of ‘Atlas’ in Mexico City.
Affleck has been filming ‘The Accountant 2’ on the West Coast recently while Lopez has been promoting her film solo. In the documentary ‘The Greatest Love Story Never Told,’ Affleck mentioned that he and Lopez are “two people with different kinds of approaches trying to learn to compromise.”
A film industry source told PEOPLE that Affleck has never been entirely comfortable showcasing his romance with Lopez through her creative work but has never wanted to hinder her artistic expression. “He’s always been impressed by how she works so hard and has achieved so much success,” says the film source. “But the openness and promotion is not his way.”
Lopez and Affleck rekindled their early 2000s relationship in 2021 and married in 2022.
While they do not share any children, they have a blended family that includes Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck’s children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
