When Jennifer Lopez graces the red carpet, her style always commands attention. The accomplished singer and actor, aged 54, made a stunning appearance at the ‘ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards’ on 5th December, held at Nya Studios in Los Angeles.

Accompanied by her husband Ben Affleck, Lopez donned a silver chrome breastplate that made a bold statement. The attention-grabbing top revealed a hint of underboob and exposed her midriff. ‘The Mother’ actress paired this daring ensemble with a high-waisted black pencil skirt and black strappy pumps. Completing her look, she adorned intricate dangle earrings and sliced her hair back. Affleck, aged 51, stood by her side in a classic black suit and tie.

The renowned couple, who exchanged vows in August 2022, shared a sweet kiss on the red carpet.

The ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards celebrates "the women shaping Hollywood today, from standout red carpet moments to the women working behind the scenes and ELLE's own cover stars," as described by the publication for this year's event.

Jennifer Lopez was one of the featured stars in ELLE's 2023 Women in Hollywood issue, alongside honorees such as Nina Garcia, America Ferrera, Danielle Brooks, Eva Longoria, Fantasia Barrino, Greta Lee, Jodie Foster, Lily Gladstone, and Taraji P. Henson.

Jennifer Lopez on Increasing Number of Roles for Older Women

In her interview, Lopez shared her perspective on the increasing number of roles for older women in acting. 

She expressed, "People have realized that women just get sexier as they get older. They get more learned and richer with character," emphasizing the beauty and attractiveness that come from ageing, both physically and internally. Reflecting on the evolution of Hollywood's standards for actors' ages, Lopez noted, "It has changed a lot, and I think it’s appropriate."

Furthermore, Lopez revealed her intention to continue her career without setting a specific end date. She emphasized her mindset of defying limitations based on factors like birthplace, age, or background, stating, "Those boundaries don’t exist for me."

Lopez's upcoming album, ‘This Is Me... Now,’ is scheduled for release on 16th February, following the debut of the lead single, ‘Can't Get Enough,’ on 10th January.
