Jon Bon Jovi Has Written a ‘Wedding Song of the Next 100 Years’

Jon Bon Jovi believes he’s penned a tune that might just be the soundtrack to countless future wedding days, not just for today’s lovebirds but for generations to come. The rock icon, now 61, spilled the beans that he crafted one of the tracks on his upcoming album specifically with his daughter Stephanie Rose Bongiovi’s big day in mind.

“She hasn’t had a listen yet,” Bon Jovi shared with the outlet. “It’s called ‘Kiss the Bride.’ Trust me, it’s the wedding anthem for the next century.”

But it’s not just Stephanie’s wedding that’s got Bon Jovi buzzing with excitement. He’s also getting ready to celebrate the marriage of his son Jake Bongiovi, 21, to none other than actress Millie Bobby Brown, 19. Talking to the outlet, the Grammy winner couldn’t contain his enthusiasm for their relationship.

“They’re really coming along together,” Bon Jovi beamed. “We’re absolutely over the moon for them because they understand they’re in this together, and we’re all for it.” “They’re both putting in a lot of effort, and we’re thoroughly enjoying it,” he added.

And it seems like wedding bells are becoming a bit of a theme in the Bon Jovi household, with the eldest son, 28-year-old Jesse, set to tie the knot with his fiancée Jesse Light, whom he popped the question to in 2022 after four years of courtship.

But it’s not just about love and marriage for Bon Jovi; he’s also being recognized for his immense contributions to music and philanthropy. On 2nd February, the Recording Academy’s charitable arm honoured him for his work in alleviating hunger and homelessness through the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, with a special ceremony and tribute concert held in his honour ahead of the Grammy Awards.

As this year’s honoree, Bon Jovi was hailed for his dedication to making a positive impact, and on the red carpet before accepting his award, he dropped a nugget of exciting news for fans eagerly awaiting Jake’s impending wedding to Brown, who got engaged in April 2023.

When asked if he’d grace the couple’s nuptials with a performance, Bon Jovi confirmed, “Absolutely, count me in.”
