Kanye Claims Kobe Was The Basketball Version Of Him
Kanye is really feeling himself looks like and has come up with a rather bizarre claim albeit not very far off from what you might expect. Here’s what he had to say: “He was the basketball version of me, and I was the rap version of him, and that’s facts!”
This went down in a sit down with GQ where Kanye opened up about the close relationship between the two families and how the loss had affected him. “There’s no way for me not to be as determined as Kobe every time I drive down that street. It’s game time. There’s no move that we can’t make, or that we’ll wait to make.” He spoke about taking drives down the street where Kobe’s helicopter crash.
It is both deeply narcissistic and affectionate as a statement but isn’t that what we love about Kanye?
He continued in the interview with emphasis, “We came up at the same time, together. And now it’s like, yeah, I might have had a reputation for screaming about things — but I’m not taking any mess for an answer now. We’re about to build a paradigm shift for humanity. We ain’t playing with ’em. We bringing home the trophies.”
