Since the release of her sixth studio album on June 7, Charli XCX has received praise from a variety of famous figures, including Ashley Tisdale, Brooke Shields, Kerry Washington, and the cast of Twisters—Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Anthony Ramos. Charli XCX explained, “I like the marketing of pop music more than I am interested in actual pop music.” She elaborated on the Brat craze, saying, “With Brat, it was really interesting to just do things for the fan base and make that feel exclusive—but then once you’re in the club, it’s actually very inclusive.” She added that everyone can join the club, albeit in different ways, whether through private Instagram posts, intimate Boiler Room events, or special cinema screenings.

As Charli XCX teased on X, “Brat summer is only just beginning :),” signalling more excitement to come. She is set to hit the road this fall for a joint headlining tour with Troye Sivan, titled ‘Charli XCX & Troye Sivan present: Sweat’, where she will perform her Brat songs for fans across the country.
