Katy Perry Says ‘I’m Pregnant With My Next Album’ After Exit From ‘American Idol’

Katy Perry’s new album is truly a labour of love. The pop star humorously remarked that she is “pregnant” with her upcoming album, sparking excitement among fans. This will be her 7th studio album, following six successful releases. The announcement comes as Katy exits her role as a judge on ‘American Idol,’ making the transition even more significant.

In a recent interview with ExtraTV, Katy candidly shared her thoughts on her departure from American Idol and who might replace her. She also addressed the rumours about her pregnancy, clarifying that she isn’t “actually pregnant” and was just joking.

“I’m pregnant with my next album,” she explained, giving fans a playful hint about her upcoming project.

Katy further teased the album during her appearance at the Breakthrough Prize red carpet event. Accompanied by her husband, Orlando Bloom, she carried a see-through handbag containing a single item: a piece of paper that read “KP6: Top Secret,” hinting at the new album and building anticipation for what’s to come.
