Keith Urban Talks Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande

In a recent interview following the announcement of his Las Vegas residency, country star Keith Urban expressed his admiration for Taylor Swift’s music, especially her latest album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’. Urban, a longtime Swift fan, found himself at a loss for words to describe the brilliance of Swift’s latest musical endeavour.

However, while Urban immersed himself in Swift’s music, he found himself deeply hooked on Ariana Grande’s latest single, ‘We Can’t Be Friends’. Urban likened the song to a powerful drug, admitting that he couldn’t get enough of it.

“I don’t know what is going on with that song, but I cannot stop playing it. It’s like audible heroin. Literally, I have to have another hit,” he confessed. The song’s celestial magic captivated Urban, who couldn’t resist playing it repeatedly.

Fortunately for Urban, he had the opportunity to experience Grande’s performance of ‘We Can’t Be Friends’ at the Met Gala which he attended alongside his wife, Nicole Kidman. Urban showered praise on Grande, describing her unique vocal gift and her ability to stand out among other artists.

“Ariana has always had that unique vocal gift. On top of that, she’s a phenomenal writer and producer,” Urban remarked, highlighting Grande’s multifaceted talent.

Despite his admiration for Swift and Grande, Urban also unveiled his own new song, ‘Go Home W U’, featuring Lainey Wilson, which he released recently. This track, along with many others, will be part of Urban’s highly anticipated 10-show Las Vegas residency titled ‘High’ at Fontainebleau’s BleauLive Theater.
