Kim Kardashian has dropped a bombshell update: she is just a few weeks away from becoming a qualified attorney, and she is determined to pursue a career in law. The reality-TV star turned entrepreneur stated that she anticipates receiving her certification in "two weeks" following years of study and apprenticeship during a recent appearance on the 24th October episode of 'The Graham Norton Show.' With this announcement, she signalled that the business mogul and influencer may one day step away from her public persona to focus on a life.

The Legal Goal in Motion

Kardashian has had a rather unconventional path into the law field. She chose to enroll in California's law office study program in 2018 rather than go to a traditional law school, juggling her studies with the responsibilities of managing her television career, her business empire, and her four children. In December 2021, she passed California's "baby bar" and finished a six-year apprenticeship that required more than 5,000 study hours.

She incorporated this topic into her current entertainment responsibilities on 'The Graham Norton Show,' mentioning that she is filming a movie in January, and expects to return for season two of her legal-drama series ‘All’s Fair,’ in which she plays lawyer Allura Grant. But the headline reveal was clear: "I will be qualified in two weeks. I hope to practise law. Maybe in 10 years, I think I'll give up being Kim K and be a trial lawyer. That's what I really want."

Carrying Her Father's Legacy Forward

This change is also very personal to Kim Kardashian. Her professional aspirations have been influenced by her late father, Robert Kardashian, a reputable lawyer best known for his work on the defense team for O.J. Simpson. She has already taken an active role in criminal justice reform, supporting sentencing reform in the US and securing clemency for nonviolent criminals.

Kardashian claims that working on this project helped her find her own passion, which is leveraging her position to effect genuine change. "Law is something that gives me purpose," she told fans, expressing hope that one day she'll step fully into the courtroom.

What This Shift Means for Her Future?

For Kardashian, this is a long-term goal rather than merely a professional gimmick. She has stated openly that she wants to step away from the limelight and devote herself entirely to a legal profession, citing her late father, renowned lawyer Robert Kardashian. Her on-screen legal drama and her actual legal quest seem to back up each other. The upcoming series 'All's Fair' premiering on 4th November, on Hulu gives her a chance to step into the lawyer role professionally before potentially doing so in reality.

At the same time, Kardashian is still managing major businesses (such as her brand SKIMS), media appearances, and a family life. But, as she nears the final step in her legal journey, it seems "Kim K, Esq." isn't just a dream anymore—it's her next big reality.
