The stars behind 'KPop Demon Hunters' viral anthem 'Golden' are still riding high—and now they’re headed for Grammy gold.
Artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the powerhouse trio who voice the hit track in Netflix's animated blockbuster, are celebrating three major Grammy nominations announced on 7th November. 'Golden' earned nods for Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Song Written for Visual Media, while the 'KPop Demon Hunters' soundtrack also received a nomination for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
The HUNTR/X group—who perform as Rumi, Mira, and Zoey in the film—learned the news together during a group video call. The artists described the moment as pure excitement, filled with disbelief, emotion, and energy as they realised the extent of the recognition.

'KPop Demon Hunters' Cast Responds to Grammy Nominations
For EJAE, who co-wrote 'Golden' with composer Mark Sonnenblick, the moment carries deeper meaning. She has spoken about how the nominations reflect not just musical success, but also representation—particularly as a Korean-American artist who once struggled with her cultural identity. The recognition, she said, feels like a celebration of both her heritage and the growing influence of Korean voices in global entertainment.
Audrey Nuna reflected on the personal and cultural weight of the achievement, saying that the Grammy acknowledgement represents a culmination of years of hard work, history, and sacrifice—not just for the group, but for their families and community. She expressed pride in sharing the journey with EJAE and Rei Ami, calling their creative sisterhood both empowering and beautiful.

Rei Ami, meanwhile, is already looking forward to attending the Grammy ceremony on 1st February 2026, at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena—and she's not shy about hoping the trio takes home a win.
The trio recently performed together on 'The Tonight Show' in October, marking HUNTR/X's debut live performance. They're also set to hit the stage again on 5th December at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2025 in Los Angeles.
