Kristen Stewart Will “Likely Never” Do a Marvel Movie UNLESS Greta Gerwig Asks Her

Kristen Stewart isn’t holding back when it comes to her thoughts on Marvel movies. In a recent appearance on the ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ podcast, the actress didn’t mince her words, describing the Marvel moviemaking system as “a f*cking nightmare.”

Stewart made it clear that she’s unlikely to ever star in a Marvel film, citing the daunting nature of the production process. “I will likely never do a Marvel movie … it sounds like a f*cking nightmare, actually,” she asserted.

While she isn’t opposed to appearing in big-budget films, acknowledging that she enjoys it when people watch movies she’s in, Stewart emphasized that the system within Marvel would need a significant overhaul for her to consider it.

“You would have to put so much money and so much trust into one person … and it doesn’t happen,” she explained. “And so therefore what ends up happening is this algorithmic, weird experience where you can’t feel personal at all about it. So likely not.”

However, Stewart did leave a sliver of possibility for a Marvel role in the future, but with a caveat: “If Greta Gerwig asked me.”

In addition to discussing her views on Marvel movies, Stewart also shared her dissatisfaction with the portrayal of s*x scenes in films, criticising them as “run-of-the-mill.” She expressed frustration with the default depiction of intimate moments on screen, noting that it often doesn’t reflect real-life experiences.
