Kylie Minogue is BRITs’ Global Icon!

Kylie Minogue will be awarded the prestigious BRITs Global Icon award during this year’s ceremony. The celebrated Australian pop sensation, also in the running for the ‘International Artist of the Year’ accolade, is scheduled to grace the stage on 2nd March 2 at London’s renowned O2 arena.

The BRITs Global Icon award is a testament to the exceptional talents of artists and this year, it’s Kylie Minogue’s turn to bask in the limelight, marking an illustrious five decades in the music industry, with an impressive discography boasting 16 studio albums. Joining the star-studded lineup of performers, which includes the likes of Dua Lipa and Raye, Minogue is set to deliver a memorable performance.

Expressing her joy, Minogue remarked, “I am beyond thrilled to be honoured with the ‘Global Icon Award’ and to be joining a roll call of such incredible artists. The UK has always been a home from home so the Brits have an extraordinary place in my heart. I have some amazing memories from the awards over the years, and I can’t wait to be back on the Brits stage.”

This month, Minogue added another feather to her cap by clinching the ‘Best Pop Dance Recording’ Grammy for her chart-topping track ‘Padam Padam’, two decades after her debut win.
