Lily Collins is stepping into the iconic role of Audrey Hepburn in an upcoming film that will explore the making of the classic romantic comedy 'Breakfast at Tiffany's.'
The new project will be written by Alena Smith, best known for creating the Apple TV+ series 'Dickinson.' The screenplay is based on Sam Wasson's bestselling book 'Fifth Avenue,' '5 A.M. Audrey Hepburn,' 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' and the 'Dawn of the Modern Woman+,' which takes readers behind the scenes of the beloved film.

Wasson’s book dives deep into the personalities and creative forces behind the movie, including writer Truman Capote, legendary costume designer Edith Head and director Blake Edwards. It follows the journey of the film from early development and on-set challenges to its release, which ultimately became a defining moment in cinema, fashion and pop culture.

The movie is being developed by Imagine Entertainment along with Lily Collins' own production banner, Case Study Films. Producer Scott LaStaiti is also on board. Producing for Imagine are Brian Grazer, Jeb Brody and Justin Wilkes. Collins will produce alongside Charlie McDowell and Alex Orlovsky for Case Study Films, with additional production support from Marc Gilbar, Wasson, Brandon Millan and Michael Shamberg.
