British actor Louis Partridge is opening up like never before—both about his high-profile relationship with pop star Olivia Rodrigo and his packed acting schedule. The 22-year-old shared in public about his private life in a recent interview with Variety, highlighting how content and grounded he feels with Rodrigo. Partridge is also preparing for some of the most significant roles of his career, effortlessly balancing romance and rising stardom.

What Partridge Shared About His Relationship

"I'm really pleased, and I think she is too, so all is fine in our world," the 22-year-old Enola Holmes actor stated in an interview with Variety, published on 12th September. He clarified that he is fine with being well recognized as Rodrigo's lover, even going so far as to call himself "Mr. Olivia Rodrigo." "That's something I can manage," he said.

During Rodrigo's headline performance at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival, Partridge recalled a memorable encounter. Partridge claimed that she learned certain British customs from him, such as "a pint at noon" and "sticky toffee pudding," when she presented her song 'So American,' claiming it was inspired by "falling in love with this boy from London." He called the shout-out "a pleasure" and "surreal."

Partridge's Exciting Upcoming Film & TV Roles

Louis Partridge's career is growing fast. He is set to play Edward Guinness in the upcoming historical drama series 'House of Guinness,' which will debut on Netflix on 25th September. After Benjamin Guinness's death, it delves into the Guinness family's history, set in 19th-century Ireland and New York, examining how his company and his four grown children deal with change and legacy.

He also plays George Wickham in Netflix's upcoming new six‑part adaptation of Jane Austen's 'Pride & Prejudice.' The series, written by Dolly Alderton and directed by Euros Lyn, has released first look images and cast announcements. Louis joins a cast that includes Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden, Olivia Colman, and many others. 

Additionally, Partridge is also set to make an appearance in Noah Baumbach's 'Jay Kelly,' which stars Adam Sandler and George Clooney among others. His character co-stars with well-known actors in this movie, which explores themes of heritage, relationships, and celebrity. The movie will be released on Netflix in December 2025 after a limited theatrical run in mid-November 2025.

While he was not able to attend the Venice Film Festival this year, Partridge did attend in 2024 for the role of the young backpacker at the heart of the mystery thriller in Alfonso Cuarón's Apple TV+ series 'Disclaimer.'
