Meghan Markle Makes a Touching Gesture During Interview With Prince Harry

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry appeared on CBS Sunday Morning for an interview on Meghan’s 43rd birthday, discussing their new initiative, The Parents Network, which supports families affected by online harm. During the interview, Meghan spoke about her previous suicidal thoughts, first revealed in a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. 

When asked about this, Meghan, with Harry by her side, responded thoughtfully, emphasizing the importance of being open about pain and trauma to help others. She highlighted her own experience of online bullying and abuse, especially during her pregnancies.

The couple’s interview also showcased their meeting with families involved in The Parents Network. These families, who have suffered due to social media’s impact on their children, found comfort in the initiative created by Harry and Meghan through their Archewell Foundation. Meghan expressed her desire to protect her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, from online harm, while Harry stressed the need for parents to act as first responders in recognizing signs of distress in their children. They both urged viewers to empathize with the plight of affected families and work towards finding solutions to these pervasive issues.
