Natalie Portman Reveals The “Most Important” Role of Her Career

Natalie Portman, celebrated for her roles in films like ‘Black Swan,’ ‘Closer’ and ‘Jackie,’ has disclosed a surprising choice for one of her “most important” roles. Despite her impressive Oscar nominations, it’s a very different performance that holds a special place in her heart.

Portman discussed her cameo in the popular family animation ‘Bluey.’ She is featured in an episode titled ‘Whale Watching’ as a narrator of a nature documentary that the characters watch.

“It’s a very important show for my family, and I was really, really honoured to get to be part of it,” she said. Portman also mentioned how she enjoys watching the show with her seven-year-old daughter, Amalia, describing the experience as “pure joy”.

‘Bluey,’ created by Joe Brumm, debuted on ABC Kids in 2018. The show centres on an anthropomorphic Blue Heeler puppy and her family. The three seasons are available on Disney+.
