Nicola Coughlan To Appear as Special Guest On ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Special

Steven Moffat has let slip some exciting news: Nicola Coughlan, star of ‘Derry Girls,’ will be making a cameo appearance. Moffat can hardly contain his excitement, saying he can’t wait for fans to see Coughlan in action. After her recent leading role in the third season of the period drama ‘Bridgerton,’ Coughlan has become one of the most talked-about actresses this year.

According to Radio Times, Moffat revealed Coughlan’s guest appearance on Joy to the World. “Nicola is wonderful in it; she will break your heart,” he told Ireland AM. “I’m not allowed to say anything about it. At least I think I’m not allowed to say anything about it, so I’ll just shut up.”
