Normani Drops Tracklist For Upcoming Debut Album, ‘Dopamine’
Normani has unveiled the tracklist for her highly anticipated debut studio album, ‘Dopamine.’ Among the 13 songs, there’s a notable collaboration with James Blake on the track ‘Tantrums.’ The album also features previously released singles ‘Wild Side’ (featuring Cardi B), ‘1:59’ (featuring Gunna) and ‘Candy Paint.’
The album includes a variety of intriguing titles such as ‘Big Boy,’ ‘All Yours,’ ‘Insomnia,’ ‘Grip,’ ‘Distance,’ and ‘Little Secrets.’ Normani shared the full tracklist and announcement on her social media on June 13.

In a recent interview with Dazed, Normani delved into the essence of her first album. She expressed, “I feel like it embodies everything I wanted to say – it feels dominant, strong, assertive – but on the flip side, there are so many layers to what dopamine is. You get the highs, the lows, the thrill of it all. And it’s a little toxic, too.”
Normani further explained the sense of freedom she experienced while creating the album: “There’s a sense of freedom I have that I’ve been waiting for, a weight lifted – me just being able to be Normani, before I’m anything else.”
Reflecting on her growth, she added, “I’ve grown so much in my tastes, the things that I like are very different than the things I liked before, but I think it’s a perfect hybrid of past and present.” Earlier this year, Normani described the album as “liberating” and representing her journey to this moment. She called ‘Dopamine’ “literally the best music I’ve ever made.”
