Offset Shares Adorable Photo of Son With Stacks of Cash Amid Divorce From Cardi B

Offset is spending quality time with his son amid his separation from his wife Cardi B. The 32-year-old rapper shared a picture on his Instagram Stories of his 2½-year-old son, Wave Set, holding stacks of cash up to his ear.

This post comes shortly after Cardi, 31, filed for divorce from the ‘Bodak Yellow’  rapper, ending their six-year marriage, as confirmed by a representative for the ‘WAP’ singer. Cardi also announced that she is pregnant with their third child and is seeking primary custody of Wave and their 6-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari, according to The New York Post’s Page Six.

Cardi revealed her pregnancy news on Instagram just hours after the divorce announcement, writing, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!” 

A source told PEOPLE that filing for divorce again was a tough decision for Cardi. “She has two kids already, is pregnant and is also a working mom. She’d love to have a great marriage too, but she needs to end it.” 

The insider added that people close to Cardi support her decision, saying, “It’s been a long time coming. It’s not just one issue. She’s matured a lot. She knows exactly what she wants her life to look like. She’s super focused on her kids and work.”

Despite their issues, the source noted that Cardi and Offset remain friendly and will co-parent. Another source added, “Offset has always been supportive of Cardi and their family.”
