‘Outlander’s Finale Welcomes Back Beloved Faces

‘Outlander’ fans can expect some familiar faces to return in the next season. Recently, Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan posted a video from the set that showed two beloved characters, Fergus Fraser and Marsali, who are well-known for their enduring presence and growing family, making a reappearance.

When we last saw them overcoming obstacles in season 6, Marsali and Fergus decided to move to Wilmington in search of a new beginning. They struggled with personal issues, especially Fergus’s feelings of inadequacy, but with Jamie’s help, they found hope and went on to be important members of the Fraser Ridge community.

The return of Lauren Lyle and César Domboy as Marsali and Fergus Fraser was announced by Balfe and Heughan in a recent video that celebrated the end of the first week of season 8 filming. Fans who had been anticipating the next instalment of the series were ecstatic to hear this news.

An interesting twist to the plot is that Lizzie and her husbands run Fraser’s Ridge while Jamie and Claire are temporarily away in Scotland. But the Ridge’s spirit lives on, thanks to Lizzie and her allies who make sure it prospers.

Fans can anticipate a brand-new prequel series called ‘Outlander: Blood of My Blood’, which delves into the lives of Jamie Fraser’s parents in the peaceful Scottish Highlands, as Starz gets ready to wrap up Jamie and Claire Fraser’s journey in the upcoming eighth season of ‘Outlander’. Unexpectedly, the prequel will explore the World War I era as well, broadening the ‘Outlander’ universe beyond earlier historical periods.

Fans can catch up on previous seasons on Starz to relive the adventures while they wait for season 7 to continue.
