Richie Sambora Discusses Bon Jovi Docuseries, 'Thank You, Goodnight'

Amidst the buzz surrounding the recent release of the Hulu docuseries, 'Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story,' Richie Sambora, the former Bon Jovi guitarist, emerged on the scene at the 11th Annual Unbridled Eve Kentucky Derby Gala. This marked his first public appearance since the docuseries dropped, showcasing a vibrant blend of music and philanthropy at The Galt House Hotel.

Following his electrifying performance at the gala, where he auctioned a guitar for charity, Sambora sat down to share his thoughts on the series. He noted that while it primarily portrays Jon Bon Jovi's perspective, he believes it doesn't fully encompass his own story.

"It's his project and his perspective. I have a different take on all of that," Sambora remarked, acknowledging the docuseries' focus on interviews with Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan, Tico Torres, and other key figures from their musical journey.

Reflecting on his gala performance, Sambora expressed satisfaction despite the brevity of his set. "I only had 23 minutes, but I brought down the house," he shared enthusiastically, highlighting the success of his performances of Bon Jovi classics like 'Wanted Dead or Alive' and 'I'll Be There for You.'
