Rihanna just gave fans a rare look at what her life is really like after dark.
The superstar shared a behind-the-scenes montage showing how she spends her nights, starting at 9 p.m. She playfully captioned the video with "commercial break," as if letting fans tune in to her real-life routine.
Dressed casually in a blue pinstriped blouse, baggy faded jeans and a grey jacket, Rihanna first handled a quick paparazzi moment before heading into a lengthy meeting for her lingerie and loungewear brand, Savage X Fenty. During the meeting, she reviewed designs and signed album covers for fans.
Rihanna's After Midnight Routine
By 1:45 a.m., she revealed her packed schedule was far from over. She explained that she still had to go to the recording studio and, after that, make a Mardi Gras costume for her son. She described it as the longest day ever.
Around 2 a.m., Rihanna arrived at the studio. The clips from that portion were mostly muted, hinting that the music she was working on could be part of her long-awaited ninth studio album. Her last album, 'Anti,' was released a decade ago, and fans have been eagerly waiting for new music ever since.
The video showed Rihanna adjusting sound equipment, jotting down notes and dancing between takes. She joked with the engineers, suggesting they grab coffee sometime and teasing that yesterday's price is not today's price.

By 6:45 a.m, she finally left the studio and headed home. But instead of going to sleep, she immediately started working on a Mardi Gras costume for her youngest son, Riot. Using hot glue, sequins and feathers, she carefully crafted the outfit by hand. Rihanna shares Riot, along with sons RZA and baby Rocki, with her longtime partner, A$AP Rocky.
At 8:30 a.m, the costume was complete. Now dressed in a pink Savage x Fenty loungewear set, Rihanna proudly showed off Riot's finished look, which featured a black blazer with purple beaded shoulders and sparkling embellished jeans.
Rihanna on Motherhood And Career
The singer has previously spoken about the challenges of balancing motherhood and her career. In a March 2025 cover story for Harper's Bazaar, she explained that every decision she makes revolves around her children.

At the same time, she admitted that doing the work she loves can sometimes make her feel like she is taking time away from them. She shared that this balancing act brings feelings of guilt and pressure, but she continues trying to find a rhythm that allows her to feel fulfilled both as a mother and as an artist.
