Their day at the Olympics continued with a visit to the women’s gymnastics uneven bars final, where Gosling watched USA gymnast Suni Lee win gold, with his arms around Mendes’ shoulders. Gosling also swapped his white cap for a green one, as captured by NBC.

Gosling and Mendes, who have been together since 2011, typically keep their family life private to shield their children from the Hollywood spotlight. Mendes has previously spoken about stepping back from acting to focus on raising their kids, sharing that while she still works, she chose to prioritize her family over acting, which often involves lengthy shoots away from home.

The couple met while filming ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ in the early 2010s. They welcomed their first daughter, Esmeralda, in 2014, and Amanda was born in April 2016. In 2020, Mendes told People that she prefers not to share pictures of her children to respect their privacy, explaining that she won’t post images of them until they are old enough to consent.

Other celebrities seen at the Paris Olympics on Sunday included F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Nina Dobrev, Shaun White, and Snoop Dogg.
