Ryan Reynolds Shares Thoughts on ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ Cameo: ‘Surprises Are The Essence’

Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films have gained a reputation for their hidden surprises and iconic guest appearances. Following the success of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, which introduced fans to legendary superheroes within the MCU, anticipation has been high for similar surprises in the upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’

Recently, Ryan Reynolds, the star of ‘Deadpool’, addressed the swirling rumours surrounding numerous cameo appearances in the film. In an interview, he was joined by the movie’s director, Shawn Levy, and Hugh Jackman, renowned for his portrayal of Wolverine.

The trio discussed various aspects of the film, including the widespread speculation and rumours regarding multiple cameos, including one involving Taylor Swift.

Reynolds, known for his witty humour, commented on the extensive speculation surrounding the movie, mentioning how fans often speculate about numerous individuals making surprise appearances. He humorously mentioned one particular rumour suggesting Elvis Presley might make an appearance in the film.

Shawn Levy, reflecting on his role as the director and his personal fandom of ‘X-Men’ and ‘Deadpool’ movies, expressed that the film was crafted with immense love for the source material and the fanbase. He emphasised that the movie was a labour of love for all those involved in creating it.

Regarding the rumoured cameo by Taylor Swift, speculated to play the role of Dazzler in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, Levy maintained a playful stance, stating that he couldn’t confirm or deny such rumours. He humorously deflected the question, indicating the level of secrecy surrounding certain aspects of the film’s production.
