Sabrina Carpenter Has a Close Bond With Taylor Swift and No Drama With Kim Kardashian

Sabrina Carpenter has shared a strong bond with Taylor Swift over the years. However, the same can’t be said about Swift’s relationship with Kim Kardashian. In a conversation with Variety, Sabrina clarified that despite personal matters, she doesn’t need permission from Swift to work with Kardashian on a clothing brand ad.

In the interview, Carpenter noted that Swift has handled every challenge with grace. She considers Swift one of her best friends. “The posts about me having to ‘ask for her permission’ — no. She’s one of my best, best friends, and we grab dinner or text and catch up like you would with your best friend,” Carpenter shared.

Carpenter also said, “She’s just such a gangster with all of it. No matter what people are saying, everything that I’ve ever seen her tackle, she’s done so with grace.”

Carpenter performed with Swift during her Eras Tour concert in Sydney. Initially scheduled to open for Swift, she ended up singing verses of ‘White Horse’ and ‘Coney Island.’ She also appeared in an advertisement for Skims, endorsing a collection of underwear and shapewear. The 25-year-old had informed Swift about her involvement in Kardashian’s ads. Meanwhile, Swift and Kardashian have been feuding since Kardashian’s marriage to rapper Kanye West.

Talking about her bond with Swift, Carpenter told Rolling Stone, “As much as people want to believe you’re tuned into every little thing, I’m not because I’m constantly working. In that scenario, I’ve been very, very communicative with her about that situation, and I just love her so much and support her till the end.”

She continued, “So it was no weirdness for me, but I know people will just say things because that’s all they have time to do.”
