Sabrina Carpenter Releases ‘Please’ Music Video Featuring Barry Keoghan

Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan have taken their relationship to the next level! The ‘Espresso’ singer released a music video for her new single ‘Please Please Please,’ featuring her actor boyfriend, Barry Keoghan.

Keoghan plays a significant role in the video, appearing throughout most of it. Carpenter playfully references his acting career in the opening lyrics, singing, “I heard that you’re an actor, so act like a stand-up guy.”

The video kicks off with Carpenter being released from jail, a nod to her arrest at the end of her ‘Espresso’ video, and meeting eyes with fellow inmate Keoghan. As the story unfolds, Carpenter alludes to famous criminal couples like Bonnie and Clyde, portraying the supportive girlfriend of her incarcerated boyfriend. Keoghan’s character is soon freed, and their relationship quickly progresses.

As the plot thickens, Carpenter pleads with Keoghan not to revert to his criminal ways. “Please, please, please don’t prove I’m right,” she sings. Toward the end, Carpenter reluctantly joins Keoghan in a robbery, leading to another arrest. The video concludes with Carpenter picking him up from jail, only to handcuff him to a chair and leave him in an empty warehouse after a kiss.

She shared the album cover on social media, featuring her long blonde hair and a red kiss mark on her shoulder against a blue background. “MY NEW ALBUM IS COMING OUT AUGUST 23rd!!!!💋,” she wrote excitedly. “This project is quite special to me and I hope it’ll be something special to you too.”

‘Please Please Please’ follows her successful single ‘Espresso,’ which she performed live for the first time at Coachella 2024. She also performed it during her debut on ‘Saturday Night Live’, alongside ‘Feather’ and ‘Nonsense.’
