Sam Smith has announced an exciting new version of their hit song ‘I’m Not The Only One’, featuring the legendary Alicia Keys. This reimagined track will be part of a special 10th anniversary edition of Smith's debut album, 'In The Lonely Hour,' set to release tomorrow (2nd August).

The original song on the 2014 album became a standout track and helped solidify Smith's place in the music world. The anniversary edition will not only include the new collaboration but also a fresh recording of another fan favourite, ‘Stay With Me’.

Smith shared the news on social media, expressing their excitement about working with Keys. They described her as “the truly incomparable” and felt honoured to have her join them on this special project. The pair had previously teamed up for a live performance of the song at Julius’, a popular gay bar in New York City, back in June. Smith described the collaboration as “a dream come true”, while Keys echoed the sentiment, marvelling at how it had taken this long for them to work together on this track.

The original version of ‘I’m Not The Only One’ was a significant success, reaching Number Three in the UK charts. 'In The Lonely Hour' itself was a landmark album for Smith, making them the only artist in 2014 to sell one million albums in both the US and UK.
