Sean Diddy Combs’ Alleged Drug Mule Arrested at Miami Airport Amid Raids

Brendan Paul, who has been linked to allegations involving Sean Diddy Combs, faces felony charges for possession of cocaine and marijuana following his arrest. Paul, 25, a former basketball player for Syracuse University, was apprehended at Opa-Locka airport by Miami-Dade police and Homeland Security agents, coinciding with raids on Combs’ two residences on Monday.

According to an affidavit obtained by PEOPLE, Paul was found in possession of suspected cocaine and marijuana in his travel bags. Although Paul has been mentioned in a civil lawsuit against Combs, his arrest appears unrelated to the rapper.

“We do not plan on trying this case in the media — all issues will be dealt with in court,” stated Paul’s lawyer Brian Bieber to PEOPLE. Paul was released on bail on Tuesday, with a bond set at $2,500. Meanwhile, federal agents raided Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles amidst s*x trafficking allegations filed against him in separate lawsuits.

When news of the raids emerged, footage aired by FOX11 showed Combs’ sons, Justin Combs, 30, and Christian ‘King’ Combs, 25, handcuffed outside their Beverly Hills residence, speaking with authorities. Combs’ private jet landed in Antigua, with Combs himself spotted at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport on Monday.

A Homeland Security Investigations representative commented on the matter, stating, “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.”

Combs’ lawyer, Aaron Dyer, criticized the raids, denouncing them as “a gross overuse of military-level force” and condemning the treatment of Combs’ children and employees. Dyer emphasized that Combs cooperated with authorities throughout the process and asserted his innocence.

Combs currently faces multiple lawsuits accusing him of s*xual assault, with a fifth settled last November. He released a statement denying all allegations, declaring his intent to clear his name and defend his reputation.
