Sean Diddy’s Former Backup Dancer Tanika Ray Says She ‘Avoided Him at All Costs’

The recent controversies surrounding Sean Diddy, a prominent figure in the hip-hop industry, have brought to light a series of allegations and discussions regarding inappropriate behaviour and abuse. These accusations have drawn the attention of various public figures and sparked intense debates about accountability and justice.

One such incident involves journalist Touré, who made comments referencing a specific incident involving Diddy and a male relative. Although the details remain vague, Touré’s remarks have contributed to the ongoing discussion about the allegations against Diddy.

She added that she’s “got a lot of stories” because she’s “been in Hollywood for 25 years, maybe longer.” Continuing the conversation she stated “Maybe I’ll write a book one day, but it just is so traumatising that women just want to live every day and feel safe,” Ray added.

“And when we revisit and revisit, we live in a state of victimhood, and nobody wants to live there. So for those who are like, ‘why didn’t you say something then?’ Because we just want to live, we want to be happy and we really want to forget the trauma. So there’s that.”

In response to Touré’s comments and the broader conversation about abuse, singer Ray shared a video message expressing empathy for victims who choose not to come forward. Ray hinted at her own traumatic experience but refrained from sharing specific details, citing concerns about potential repercussions and victimisation.

However, the most serious accusations against Diddy came from a former partner who filed a lawsuit alleging a decade of abuse, including violence, sex trafficking, and a rape incident. This legal battle was eventually resolved with an undisclosed agreement, but it raised further questions about the allegations and Diddy’s conduct.

Since then, additional allegations from other individuals have emerged, echoing similar claims of abuse and exploitation. These allegations have added fuel to the ongoing controversy surrounding Diddy and have prompted discussions about accountability within the music industry.
