Sigourney Weaver is opening up about the advice she always shares with younger actors.

The 76-year-old actress spoke during a panel at New York Comic Con, where she reflected on her long career and her admiration for the next generation of performers. While discussing 'Alien: Earth,' the first-ever TV series in the Alien franchise, Weaver made it clear that she fully supports the show and its cast.

She explained that after meeting lead star Sydney Chandler and other cast members, she saw a lot of her younger self in them. Weaver recalled how stepping into Alien years ago came with huge responsibility, even before the film became a global phenomenon. Now that the franchise is so beloved, she believes today's actors may feel even more pressure.

About 'Alien: Earth'

'Alien: Earth' premiered on Hulu in August and stars Sydney Chandler as Wendy, a humanoid robot leading a team of soldiers after a mysterious spacecraft crashes on Earth. Set before Ridley Scott's 1979 classic 'Alien,' the first season spans eight episodes and also features Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Babou Ceesay, and Samuel Blenkin.

Sigourney Weaver has previously said she is thoroughly enjoying the series, noting that its story goes beyond traditional sci-fi horror. She appreciates how the show explores the future of humanity and the forces that could shape the world a century from now.
