Snoop Dogg is officially stepping in front of the camera for a new horror film directed by Eli Roth.

According to reports, the rapper was first attached to the project as a producer and was also set to contribute music to the soundtrack. Recently, Roth confirmed that Snoop will not only help shape the film behind the scenes but will also star in it.

Roth explained that Snoop Dogg has wanted to launch Death Row Films for some time, and together they set out to create an over-the-top haunted house movie. The director described the project as a wild blend of classic horror influences, aiming for something so outrageous that audiences can't believe it was made. The film is titled 'Don't Go in That House, B*tch!' and is expected to begin filming this summer.

Roth shared that the movie plays on a familiar horror trope: characters repeatedly entering a dangerous house despite every warning. The concept is built around the frustration viewers often feel while watching horror films, turning those shouted warnings into part of the story itself, almost like a running commentary within the movie.

Snoop Dogg's Other Collaboration With Eli Roth

In addition to starring in the film, Snoop Dogg is also collaborating with Roth on another upcoming project, 'Ice Cream Man.' For that film, Snoop contributed original score music rather than hip-hop tracks, impressing Roth enough that an entire section of the movie will feature Snoop's music.

This isn't the first time the two have worked together. Roth previously collaborated with Snoop on the music video for the rapper's 2012 song 'La La La.'

Roth has long been a supporter of low-budget horror, believing that strong scares matter more than big budgets. He has often pointed to films like 'The Blair Witch Project' and 'Paranormal Activity' as proof that fear doesn't need expensive effects.

He has also spoken in the past about enjoying projects that challenge audiences and leave room for interpretation, a philosophy that continues to shape his work across the genre.
