Sofia Boutella Talks About Romance With Gunnar in ‘Rebel Moon-Part Two’

Sofia Boutella, known for her portrayal of Kora in Zack Snyder’s sci-fi universe, has dropped hints about her character’s romantic storyline in the upcoming Netflix film ‘Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.’

With a dedicated fan base eagerly awaiting the next instalment, Boutella shared insights into what viewers can expect in the sequel. In Part One, Kora and her team face betrayal and emerge victorious against the villain Atticus Noble. However, their triumph was short-lived as they learned of Atticus’ revival, setting the stage for another thrilling confrontation.

In an interview with The Direct, Boutella discussed Kora’s evolving relationship with Gunnar, portrayed by Michiel Huisman, in Part Two. She revealed how their romance develops, building upon the subtle hints of attraction seen in the first film.

Describing Huisman as gentle and kind, Boutella expressed how effortless it was to work with him. She highlighted the peaceful dynamic between their characters, adding depth to the war-torn narrative of the film.
