Maya Hawke and Christian Lee Hutson are officially husband and wife.
The 27-year-old actress and the 35-year-old musician tied the knot in a surprise Valentine's Day ceremony on 14th February in New York City. The intimate evening wedding took place at St. George's Episcopal Church, surrounded by close family and friends.
Maya's parents, actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, were both there to support their daughter. Several of her 'Stranger Things' castmates attended as well, including Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery.

Maya Hawke and Christian Lee Hutson's Wedding Outfits
For the big day, Maya Hawke wore a white wedding dress paired with an oversized, feathery winter coat. Christian Lee Hutson chose a classic tuxedo. Thurman looked elegant in a light blue gown with matching shoes, while Ethan kept it simple in an all-black outfit. Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, Maya's brother, was also present.
Ethan shares two younger daughters, Clementine Jean and Indiana, with his wife, Ryan Shawhughes Hawke, while Thurman is also mother to Luna, whom she shares with former fiancé Arpad Busson.
Representatives for both Maya and Hutson did not comment on the wedding.
Maya Hawke and Christian Lee Hutson's Relationship
Hutson first publicly confirmed their engagement during an interview with SoCal Sound Session last year. When host Julie Slater referred to Maya as his fiancée while discussing the song 'Carousel Horses' from his album 'Paradise Pop. 10,' which he worked on with Phoebe Bridgers and Maya, he agreed. Two months later, Maya was photographed in Manhattan wearing a diamond ring on her left hand.

The couple made their red carpet debut in April at the opening night of 'John Proctor Is the Villain' at New York City's Booth Theatre, where Maya Hawke showed her support for Sadie Sink. Earlier this year, the 'Inside Out 2' star attended the Prada Fall/Winter 2025 show during Milan Fashion Week with Hutson and later shared a photo of them sitting front row.
Maya Hawke and Christian Lee Hutson's First Encounter
Maya Hawke and Christian Lee Hutson first met years ago while recording music. The New York–based singer opened for Bridgers on tour between 2022 and 2023 and later appeared on Maya's 2024 album, 'Chaos Angel.' In February 2024, he posted a Valentine's Day tribute celebrating the release of her new music and shared how much he loved the record and looked forward to everyone hearing it.

Last July, Maya posted candid photos of the two of them relaxing together and travelling. She shared how lucky she feels to know Hutson, describing him as a poet and musical genius, and said she was grateful to collaborate with him on 'Paradise Pop. 10.'
In an interview on 'The Zach Sang Show,' Maya spoke warmly about their relationship. She said dating a close friend has been an incredible experience and that being with someone who truly knows her as a person, with real feelings and flaws, makes all the difference.
