Sydney Sweeney brought classic Hollywood glamour to the red carpet this week with a look inspired by the golden era of film.

The 28-year-old actress attended the Los Angeles premiere of 'The Housemaid' on 15th  December at the TCL Chinese Theatre. For the occasion, she wore a custom white halter-neck gown designed by bridal fashion house Galia Lahav. The dress featured a fitted bodice that highlighted her waist and a flowing skirt finished with a feathered hem, drawing clear inspiration from the iconic look Marilyn Monroe wore in the 1955 film 'The Seven Year Itch.'

Based on Freida McFadden's 2022 psychological thriller novel, 'The Housemaid' follows Millie, played by Sweeney, as she takes what seems like a perfect job, only to find herself tormented by her increasingly unstable employer, Nina, portrayed by Seyfried.

Sydney Sweeney was joined on the red carpet by Seyfried, 40, who wore a sparkling red gown from Monse's Pre-Fall 2026 collection, paired with gold high-heeled sandals.

After the premiere, Sweeney switched outfits for the afterparty, changing into a strapless white mini dress adorned with floral details, which she paired with white pumps.

Sydney Sweeney And Plastic Surgery

The actress' latest appearance also comes shortly after she addressed online speculation about plastic surgery. In a recent interview, Sweeney made it clear she has never had cosmetic work done, explaining that she is deeply afraid of needles.

She also called out social media critics who compare photos of her as a child to recent red carpet images, pointing out that professional makeup, lighting, and growing up naturally change a person's appearance.

'The Housemaid' arrives in theatres on 19th December.
