Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Nominated in Same Category for 2024 Webby Awards

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are both nominated for this year’s highly anticipated Webby Awards in the same category. Each received nominations for the 13th May ceremony in New York in different categories, but they were both nominated for ‘Best Creator’ or’ Influencer Collaboration, Features (Social).’

Swift’s recognition comes from her partnership with Vote.org on National Voter Registration Day, while Kelce’s nomination is a result of his work with the Cheesecake Factory. Alongside them in the competition are Amaury Guichon, Paris Hilton, and Tube Girl from TikTok.

Swift’s nomination comes after her passionate efforts to get her fan base involved in the US elections, which resulted in record-breaking traffic to the Vote.org website in September of last year. Her influence was also crucial in encouraging people to register to vote on National Voter Registration Day, which resulted in the site receiving its highest traffic since 2020.

Swift had previously expressed reluctance to get involved in politics, but in recent years, she has spoken out more, supporting Democratic candidates and actively promoting voting. Her influence has been so great that President Biden was reportedly seeking her support for the next US Presidential Election earlier this year.
