Taylor Swift is celebrating a couple’s milestone moment at her Eras Tour show! The 34-year-old pop sensation took to social media to extend her congratulations to a delighted couple who got engaged during her concert in Edinburgh, Scotland.
In a video shared on Threads from the concert, Swift was captured smiling as she seemingly spotted the couple amidst the crowd at Murrayfield Stadium while performing her song ‘Cardigan.’

After completing the song, Swift addressed the audience, expressing her excitement at witnessing the proposal: “I love performing this entire show in the sunlight because I’m pretty sure I just saw somebody getting engaged over here…” she said, as the crowd erupted in cheers.
Confirming the proposal, Swift asked the couple, “Did it happen?” and upon hearing their affirmative response, she exclaimed, “Yesss!” with jubilation.
“I never get to see that, right? Because it’s usually dark at night,” Swift explained to the crowd. “But it’s not right now, so congratulations. Wow, I just saw that whole thing! Uh, man, that’s amazing. Thanks for doing that at my concert, that’s a big moment — huge!”
Swift kicked off her U.K. leg of the Eras Tour with three shows in Scotland, followed by performances in Liverpool, Cardiff, and London before returning to the capital in August for five more dates. This special moment came after Swift’s recent European leg performances, including a rain-soaked concert in Lyon, France, where she praised her dedicated fans for their unwavering support.
