Taylor Swift Stuns in All-Black Ensemble at ‘Poor Things’ Premiere

Taylor Swift expressed her support for Emma Stone by attending the premiere of Stone’s new film, ‘Poor Things,’ at the DGA Theater in New York City. The 33-year-old singer, known for hits like ‘Blank Space,’ made a stylish entrance in an all-black outfit with a bold red lip, standing out with a faux fur-lined coat and open-toe pumps.

The two celebrities have been close friends since their teenage years, as revealed by Stone, 35, who shared insights into their friendship at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. Stone expressed her gratitude, mentioning that Swift helped her secure tickets to the Eras Tour concert in Arizona.

Stone praised Swift as a wonderful friend, highlighting Swift’s incredible stamina during her performances, particularly noting a concert with a three-and-a-half-hour duration and 44 songs.

Stone, who won a Best Actress Oscar for ‘La La Land,’ described the concert as a “full-circle moment” at the W Magazine event. She marvelled at witnessing Swift’s evolution from the beginning of her career to the present. Notably, Stone mentioned that the concert was choreographed by Mandy Moore, who also worked on the choreography for ‘La La Land.’

Taylor Swift Praised Emma Stone

Swift, honoured as ‘Time’s Person of the Year’, shared that Mandy Moore was recommended by Emma Stone for choreography, acknowledging that learning choreography isn’t her forte. The ‘Shake it Off’ singer humorously recalled performing at the Grammys with a hangover, calling it a “hilarious” exception she’d rather not experience again.

Discussing her friendship with Beyoncé, Swift praised her as a warm, open and funny person. The two made waves online when Swift supported Beyoncé at the London premiere of her concert film ‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.’

Despite media comparisons between their stadium tours, Swift emphasized that she and Beyoncé don’t let external noise impact their personal relationship. The ‘Lover’ singer noted the tendency of the media and fan culture to pit women against each other for comparison, even when the artists involved choose not to engage in such discussions.
