The autographed six-track disc, featuring an original recording and cover versions of songs by Dolly Parton, The Chicks and more, was sold for $12,505 through Goldin Auctions.
According to the auction house, Swift recorded the CD at age 11 while living in Reading, Pennsylvania, and shopped it around during a trip to Nashville with her mother, Andrea. The CD features Swift's name, a list of tracks, a black-and-white portrait of the singer-songwriter, and contact information, now partially obscured by her large black signature.
