As the release date for ‘Transformers One’ approaches, fans eagerly anticipate exploring the origins of the robots in disguise. The film will delve into the early friendship between future adversaries Optimus Prime and Megatron on their home planet, Cybertron. A new poster provides another glimpse of the star-studded lineup.

The poster features Chris Hemsworth as Orion Pax (Optimus Prime), Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1, Brian Tyree Henry as Megatron (D-16), and Keegan-Michael Key as B-127 (Bumblebee), all poised for battle. The sleek character designs and vibrant colour palette set an exciting tone for the upcoming film. ‘Transformers One’ chronicles the brotherly bond between Optimus Prime and Megatron before their rivalry, promising an adventurous look at how they reshape Cybertron's fate. While specific plot details remain under wraps, the trailers hint at a fun and humorous narrative.

The film aims to blend traditional ‘Transformers’ lore with themes of societal inequality, adding depth to the high-octane action. Directed by Josh Cooley, known for ‘Toy Story 4’, the director describes the movie as the beginning of a new continuity for the franchise. 

The voice cast includes Steve Buscemi as the antagonist, Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion, and Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime. The prequel's screenplay is by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, writers of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, with additional contributions from Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman.

The production team boasts impressive names like Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto, Don Murphy, Michael Bay, and Steven Spielberg among others. With such talent, both behind and in front of the camera, ‘Transformers One’ is poised to be a must-watch.

‘Transformers One’ is set to hit theatres on 20th September.
