Pharrell Williams wrapped up his performance at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 15 minutes ahead of schedule due to safety concerns arising from the crowd's behaviour. During the event held at the Saudi Corniche Circuit in Jeddah on 9th March, the renowned producer and singer addressed the audience.
He expressed concern over the danger posed by throwing their light-up wristbands towards the stage and urged them to stop. Despite his warnings, attendees persisted in their actions, prompting Pharrell to cut his set short. In his address to the crowd, Pharrell emphasised the need for safety, especially with the lively atmosphere in the city.

He pointed out the importance of protecting women, stating, "This is the liveliest city right now on the planet, but we have also got to be the safest." Pharrell's message underscored the risk posed by throwing objects towards the stage while dancers performed. He urged the audience to redirect their enthusiasm and ensure the safety of everyone present.
Despite his efforts to convey the message, the concert-goers continued to disregard his instructions. With the situation escalating, Pharrell decided to conclude his performance early. He signalled the end of his set, saying, "OK, I am going to let you all finish," before exiting the stage. This incident highlights the importance of respecting safety guidelines during live events.
