Timothée Chalamet Reveals His ‘Game of the Year’

‘Wonka’ actor Timothee Chalamet has spilled the beans on his top game of 2023. Chatting with IGN, the actor dished out that his preferred gaming experience of the year “might’ve been ‘Spider-Man 2’.” According to him, the game was “just amazing,” but he’s keeping mum on the details, not wanting to spoil the excitement for those yet to dive into the virtual adventure.

Chalamet recently graced ‘The Game Awards’ stage, handing over the coveted ‘Game of the Year’ accolade to ‘Baldur’s Gate 3.’ Interestingly, the star has a gaming past, having once run a YouTube channel dedicated to custom Xbox 360 controllers, named ModdedController360.

In a 2021 interview with YouTuber Nate Hill, Chalamet shared, “I had a YouTube Channel people found called youtube.com/moddedcontroller360. I used to paint my controllers, I did three and I used to spray paint them. I would like to open them up and paint them and I would charge people $10 for them.”

Adding to his gaming resume, Chalamet has made digital appearances in popular games. ‘Fortnite’ enthusiasts can find a skin inspired by the actor’s character in ‘Dune,’ and that same character recently joined the ranks of ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ as a DLC operator.

Critics describe the game as “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a confident sequel that tells a bold, emotional story and sets a new standard for superhero games in the process. Across a memorable and challenging campaign, a meaningfully expanded combat system makes set pieces and boss fights sing,” praised Jordan Oloman.

“But it’s the profound side stories hiding in the open world that balance out the superhero stakes with a healthy dose of hopeful humanity.”

Shifting gears to the gaming world, ‘Assassin’s Creed Mirage‘ has received a fresh update introducing a New Game Plus mode to keep players hooked.
