Timothée Chalamet Transforms Into Bob Dylan on Set of ‘A Complete Unknown’

The streets of New York City have become a stage for Timothée Chalamet’s incredible transformation. The talented actor, known for his captivating portrayals in films like ‘Dune’ and ‘Call Me By Your Name’, is currently filming  ‘A Complete Unknown’ a biopic chronicling the life of music legend Bob Dylan.

Recent photos captured on set offer a glimpse into Chalamet’s remarkable transformation. Gone are the clean-cut features we’re accustomed to seeing. In their place, a mop of curly hair, reminiscent of Dylan’s iconic 1960s look, frames Chalamet’s face. A newsboy cap perched atop his head and a worn scarf complete the vintage aesthetic.

Chalamet’s attire further cements his embodiment of the young Dylan. Clad in a classic denim jacket and jeans, he carries a guitar case, hinting at the musical journey the film will explore. Director James Mangold has previously confirmed that Chalamet will be singing his rendition of Dylan’s legendary songs in the film.

The photos depict Chalamet strolling through the streets of the Chelsea neighbourhood, a location that holds historical significance for Dylan. El Quijote, a restaurant located within the Hotel Chelsea, was a frequent haunt for the musician in his early days. Capturing scenes in this location adds another layer of authenticity to the biopic.
