Tom Hanks and Robin Wright Reunite in Heartwarming ‘Here’ Trailer

Robert Zemeckis’ highly anticipated drama ‘Here,’ starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, has released its first trailer! This film marks a reunion between the acclaimed director and his ‘Forrest Gump’ stars, alongside Oscar-winning screenwriter Eric Roth. Adapted from Richard McGuire’s acclaimed graphic novel, ‘Here’ weaves a multigenerational tale through vignettes and montages.

The new trailer showcases digitally de-aged versions of Hanks and Wright, spanning their journey from teenage years to elderly couplehood within the confines of their home. The trailer’s surreal quality offers glimpses into different phases of their lives, promising a heartfelt slice-of-life experience.

Set against the backdrop of their home, ‘Here’ explores multiple families and the significance of their shared space across generations, touching on themes of love, joy, happiness, and grief.

Director Zemeckis commented on the use of technology: “I’ve always been attracted to technology that helps me to tell a story. With ‘Here,’ the film simply wouldn’t work without our actors seamlessly transforming into younger versions of themselves.”

Described as a “tale of love, loss, laughter, and life,” ‘Here’  promises an emotional journey for audiences. The film features a talented cast including Paul Bettany, Kelly Reilly, Ophelia Lovibond, Michelle Dockery, and Nikki Amuka-Bird alongside Hanks and Wright.

Scheduled for theatrical release on 15th November 2024, ‘Here’ is poised to captivate audiences with its visually stunning narrative.
