Tom Hanks Expresses Admiration For Cher in 'Mamma Mia 2'

Recently, Tom Hanks showed his appreciation for Cher, highlighting her performance in ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’ in particular. 

Celebrities Julia Roberts, Timothée Chalamet and Cher attended the Graham Norton Show episode where they talked about how much they loved Cher. 

Cher mentioned that she isn't particularly fond of her work and typically leans towards non-hit songs when Graham Norton asked about her music preferences. Norton then asked if she watches her movies, to which Cher straightforwardly responded, "No."

Tom Hanks Praises Cher 

Tom Hanks eagerly jumped into the discussion, urging Cher to recognize the artistic mastery of ‘Mamma Mia 2'. He grew more animated as he talked about how much he was looking forward to Cher's performance as ‘Fernando’ in the movie.

Hanks humourously emphasized the effect of Cher's performance by stating that when she sings ‘Fernando,’ everything seems to stop.

With a playful suggestion, Hanks recommended that everyone should go and see Cher's films right away. Julia Roberts agreed with the idea and joined in on the light-hearted banter.

Cher Just Released Her Christmas Album

Cher just released ‘Christmas,’ her first Christmas album. This compilation features covers of well-known holiday classics in addition to four original tracks. 

Cher returns to the music scene with this joyful collection, working with special guests like Michael Bublé, Tyga, Darlene Love, Cyndi Lauper and Stevie Wonder. The singer has been away from music for five years.
