Travis Kelce Calls Taylor Swift the Love of His Life, Reveals He Was Mesmerized When They First Met

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are clearly in sync when it comes to love.

In the sixth episode of Swift's Eras Tour docuseries, 'Taylor Swift: The End of an Era,' titled 'Remember This Moment,' the singer shares a deeply personal letter Travis wrote to her before her final three Vancouver shows in December 2024.

In the recent episode, Taylor is backstage with her mom, Andrea Swift, as she reads the note from the Kansas City Chiefs star. In the letter, Travis calls her the love of his life and reflects on how unforgettable it was to see her perform live for the first time. He describes being completely captivated and swept away by her, even before she knew who he was.

He also thanks Taylor for creating such a historic tour and gives a special nod to her team for bringing the 'Eras Tour' to Kansas City, saying that night marked the beginning of his journey with the woman who would become the love of his life.

Taylor Swift becomes emotional as she finishes reading the note privately, laughing and telling her mom that she had hoped to keep her emotions in check during the final shows.

The touching moment comes shortly after Taylor herself called Travis the love of her life during a December appearance on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.' While reflecting on her engagement and other major milestones, she shared how grateful she was for finding lasting love and regaining control of her music, noting that neither of those moments was ever guaranteed.

Their story famously began in July 2023, when Travis attended Taylor's 'Eras Tour' stop at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium and tried to meet her backstage. He later admitted on his 'New Heights' podcast that he had made her a personalised friendship bracelet with his number on it, but never got the chance to give it to her, something he joked about being disappointed over.

Taylor later revealed in the docuseries that this unexpected moment became the start of the most meaningful relationship of her life.

Taylor Swift also shared how her mom played a key role behind the scenes. After seeing headlines about Travis attending the show and wanting to meet Taylor, Andrea reached out to a family member who followed the Kansas City Chiefs closely to learn more about him. Hearing that he was kind, respectful, and especially devoted to his mom immediately caught her attention.

Andrea eventually encouraged Taylor to step outside her comfort zone and give the connection a chance. She also praised Travis for trying to reach Taylor in such a thoughtful way, saying the friendship bracelet gesture was sincere, sweet, and showed he was making an effort to connect through Taylor's world.

What started as a missed backstage meeting ultimately turned into a love story that neither of them expected, but both now cherish.
